Facilities

Backwell Village Club Facilities.

Our bar is always well stocked!

Ales, ciders and lagers are available on tap. Most are familiar favourites and we also have guest ales and ciders too.

We have a good range of spirits and wine, and a large selection of non alcoholic options.

If you’re feeling peckish, we have a good selection of nibbles, pork pies and pasties.

Our enclosed, well maintained garden is a sunny haven in the summer. We have plenty of seating and umbrellas.

We have 2 full size snooker tables, maintained to a professional standard.

We have a popular pool table available in one of our bars.

We have one darts board available.

Our smaller bar includes our skittles alley.  We are home to a number of local teams, and regularly host their matches.

This bar, including the skittles alley, can be hired out for private functions.

We have 2 large plasma screen TVs and large screens in the main bar.  We show a range of sports events including football, rugby, cricket, golf, F1 and snooker.

Charity

Charities of The Year: National Autistic Society, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Childrens’ Hospice South West at Wraxall

Each year Club members select a charitable cause for which we raise money through various events and collections. This year at our AGM, members nominated that we should raise funds for three different charities. The South West Children’s Hospice at Wraxall was once again nominated along with the National Autistic Society and MDNA (Motor Neurone Disease Association).

We are pleased that our members agreed that we should split all the money we raise between these three deserving causes throughout 2024.

Come back to this page soon to see how much we raised for our charities in the last year – South West Children’s Hospice and Free Wheelers Bristol.
